About
Earthing Up
Hey, beautiful souls, this is earthing up. A place to learn to dig into the soul to heal and grow. I wish to encourage you and inspire you to fall in love with who you are. My journey here has been a long one but a beautiful one. From childhood, struggling with my identity, accepting who I was and loving myself completely, from adulthood experiencing abuse and ridicule. I spent so much time in the darkness of self doubt and self hatred. After years of working on myself, seeing myself and accepting myself through my spirituality, I am happy, content and at peace with who I am, the dark and the light. I have cultivated a simple, fulfilling life through soul searching, holistic living and reviving old ways of living. This is what I hope for all of you, to rediscover, to accept and learn to love every aspect of who you are. Here you will find inspiration, ideas, stories, love and light. I look forward to this journey with you.

I went out to sit with the trees
Venting my pain & sorrow into the bark
Surging my energy into the roots below ground
Hoping to find wisdom & guidance from these ancient beings
I laid my soul bare before them
Crying out the tortures of my heart
But the trees said nothing
They stood in silence, firm & grounded
Teaching me that to be still, to be silent & grounded
is the deep soul wisdom needed
FAQ
Where to start
By taking a step back and evaluating your life and if you fill fulfilled by how you live. If not, take one step at a time, one moment at a time, one thing at a time to make a change to improve. Allowing yourself grace and understanding for where you are and taking action to better be there and support yourself.
My Spiritual Practices
There are many forms of spiritual practices. It may be meditating 5 minutes, yoga, going on a walk or enjoying a cup of hot tea. A spiritual practice can be anything that brings joy and comfort to your soul. I enjoy sitting outside in the sun, putting my bare feet on Mother Earth, sitting in silence to think, meditating a few moments throughout the day, to slow down in a busy world, journaling and breath work.
My 3 Daily Goals
Each day we should strive to accomplish 3 things, nourish the mind, body and spirit. Nourish the mind by journaling or reading. Nourish the body by movement, dancing, walking, or yoga. Nourish the spirit by meditating or breath work. It is my priority to tend to each aspect of myself each day, even if I only take 10 minutes or an hour, it is vital for my growth and healing.
My Expressing Gratitude Practice
Daily reflection on the things we are grateful for make a huge impact on the direction of our lives. Taking the time each day to either write down, think to ourselves or speak aloud a few things we are grateful for. The Universe will expand for us when we express gratitude. Each day I write down 3 things that I am grateful for, no matter how significant or small they may be. If I do not take the time to write it down, I will sit in a quiet moment and reflect on 3 things.
